Reclaim students’ desire & motivation to learn, one phone-free day at a time.
A revamped approach to 21st-century education.
Our approach
As an educator of middle and high school students for over a decade, I have seen the gradual decline in children’s focus, motivation, social and other real-world skills, and cognitive development. I have witnessed this firsthand, both in my classroom as well as with my six children and three grandchildren.
Swimming Upscreen was created to assist school administrations with the difficult task of getting parents, students, and teachers back on the same page in regards to education.
We work with school administrators to create and enact a comprehensive, bell-to-bell “no phone” policy to get students out of their online worlds and back into their classrooms, where they belong. We are there through every step of this transition to help administration, teachers, students, and parents through the growing pains of transitioning to this unique approach to education.
Bell-to-bell cell phone policies allow schools to present a united front against student cell phone use during school hours to relieve the burden of cell phone policy enforcement, which reduces classroom conflict and allows the entire school community to experience the benefits of students being off of their cell phones from the beginning to the end of the school day.
“We should be enjoying the scenery, not the screenery.”
